One of our favorite projects in hip-hop right now is the rising Atlanta rap duo, EARTHGANG. The duo, comprised of Johnny Venus and Doctor Dot, have been rapping together for nearly a decade. It wasn’t really until around late summer of last year, however – when the group signed to J. Cole’s Dreamville label – that the general hip-hop populace started realize their potential for greatness.
With each release, EARTHGANG have been gaining more and more notoriety. Today, they dropped a brand new single titled “Stuck,” featuring Arin Ray. EARTHGANG are often compared to OutKast, and tracks like this are a perfect example why. Both duos were praised for their funky, soulful sound, while also brandishing extraordinary songwriting and lyricism.
There’s more to come from EARTHGANG, and soon. Johnny Venus and Doctor Dot announced on Reddit recently that their next album, Mirrorland, is supposed to be dropping in February 2019.

It’s been just over a year since he released his last studio album, and Action Bronson (aka Bronsolino, aka Bam Bam, aka Mr. Baklava) is back working on another. Today he drops the title track to his forthcoming album White Bronco, and he’s sounding jazzier, classier, and higher than ever.
As always, Action’s bars here on “White Bronco” are flashy, witty, and hilarious. The way he glides weightlessly over the smooth, buttery beat (produced by Daringer) is awe-inspiring. Few artists carry such pure and true confidence as this man, and it shines through his raps.
We definitely got down to a few of the jams off his previous album, Blue Chips 7000, but Action is already sounding sharper and more comfortable on this new single. We’re pumped to hear what the rest of White Bronco is going to sound like. According to Action, it should be out soon.
Stream the first single, “White Bronco,” below and enjoy!

Chris Lake just let loose another one of his secret weapons. This time, it comes in the form of a collaboration with Green Velvet, aka the label head of Relief Records (one of the most prolific house labels in the U.S.). This brand new track, “Deceiver” has been used a climactic point in Chris Lake and Green Velvet’s sets over the past year, and they finally feel like they’re ready to release it to the public.
“Deceiver,” like many of both Chris Lake & Green Velvet’s tracks, features a very heavy, prominent bass line that could rock a dance floor on its own. Green Velvet moves the track along with his infectious “I see your lips movin’ / but what you talkin’ bout?” vocals, until you reach the final drop which detonates on impact with signature Chris Lake laser sounds.
If this doesn’t get you moving, nothing probably will. Turn up your speakers, get up out of your seat, and stream this brand new track below. It’s out now via Chris Lake’s Black Book label Enjoy!

Morgan Page and Le Youth, what a pairing! Besides both residing in Los Angeles, I’ve never pictured these two having much in common music-wise. For those of you unfamiliar, we just recently launched an exciting new series titled “The Sauce” and we’re excited to announce the third volume.
After having Big Gigantic for the first party, and NGHTMRE b2b SLANDER for the second edition of The Sauce, we’re pleased to be announcing Elderbrook as Vol. 3 on September 26. If you haven’t seen the first one with Big Gigantic or the Second one with NGHTMRE b2b SLANDER be sure to check them out as these first ones have been epic.
The intimate live event series takes place on our small private roofdeck at our office here in Denver as a way to do something special with our readers and favorite artists. With the first two volumes of the sauce being DJ sets, we’re incredibly excited to switch things up and do a more live set with Elderbrook, who we’ve had on repeat all year.
You’ve likely heard Elderbrook’s massive “Cola” collab with Camelphat that’s racked up nearly 100 million streams on Spotify alone, and he’s shown no signs of slowing down all year. He followed up his mega-hit with equally as infectious songs “Sleepwalking” and “Capricorn” showing off his perfect combo of production and vocals. Be sure to check those out below and don’t miss out on this special intimate experience.
Enter below where we’ll randomly select 30 fans to attend the private event with a guest while a grand prize winner will win a pair of tickets to his Marquis show that night. If you can’t make it, don’t worry we’ll be streaming the set live on Facebook with the video staying up there and on Youtube. Good luck and enjoy!
As you may know we launched something really exciting recently with “The Sauce“.. It’s an intimate event series that is also live streamed and it takes place on our office rooftop here in Denver. It might go to some other locations, but for now it’s taking place in Denver.
We tested the waters for a pre-sauce party with Louis the Child, and since decided to launch the series with Volume 1 featuring Big Gigantic and Volume 2 featuring some very special friends earlier this wek. Right after they crushed a headline show at Red Rocks Amphitheatre and made history of their own, NGHTMRE & SLANDER made time to be part of our own little bit of history with Volume 2 of The Sauce.
They played for nearly 2 hours and as you can see the energy was absolutely out of control. Listen and watch the entire thing below and watch out for Volume 3 of The Sauce being announced very soon…
Also let us know who you want to see at future volumes of The Sauce, this party is thrown for the readers and fans.

Ever since we had the pleasure of introducing rising producer DEVAULT to the site, we’ve continued to be impressed by his lush, unique electronic sound. Having dropped some incredible remixes of Sabrina Claudio x Khalid, Mikky Ekko and even DJ Snake over the past year, today the Orange County-based artist has shared a fresh new original track today – “Nothing But You” (feat. Donnie Sloan & Ricky Ducati).
Similar to DEVAULT’s recently released singles “Leave Me Now”, “Stay” and “Steele”, this latest offering embodies a sonic world of its own. Characterized by vibrant warbling synths, slow pulsing bass and retro vocal harmonies akin to something from The Beach Boys, although fall is undeniably here, this new one still feels like a warm summer night. Check out “Nothing But You” below and keep an eye out for DEVAULT’s debut EP Stay set to release later this year. Enjoy!
