Kaytranada Joins His Brother Lou Phelps & Jazz Cartier On Bouncing New Song “Come Inside”

Kaytranada never disappoints. This time around the TSIS favorite has linked up with his brother Lou Phelps and Jazz Cartier for a dance-friendly new hip-hop song “Come Inside.” Kaytra and his brother Lou have linked up multiple times in the past and are back at it with the loose single.

The three Canadians show an immediate chemistry on this new track that already has us awaiting summer. The breezy Kaytranada instrumental has the signature groove we’ve come to expect from his productions over the years. Jazz Cartier has also been on a roll lately and shines over the smooth production that’s a bit different from the darker producer we’re used to hearing him with. Enjoy!

Form Arcosanti Announces Lineup For Their Exclusive And Unique Music & Art Festival Ft. Skrillex, Chance The Rapper & More

In today’s world flooded with music festivals left and right, we’re always looking for the next unique, creative experience that will blow our minds. One special festival / retreat that’s doing it different than all the others is FORM Arcosanti, an event curated by OWSLA’s Hundred Waters, that takes place in Arizona’s eco-city of Arcosanti. FORM will be returning May 11-13 this year – see more info here

Unlike most festivals, to attend FORM Arcosanti you actually have to submit a short application in order to be considered. According to the press release, “the short application is designed to promote diversity, integrity, and creativity amongst those populating the historical architectural landmark for the weekend.” With a very limited amount of tickets, you can be sure that there will be enough space for you to dance and move about freely as you so please.

Even though we’re talking about a relatively small festival, the artists they’ve announced are huge. The headliners include Chance The Rapper, Skrillex, Charli XCX, Beach House, Daniel Caesar and Blood Orange with appearances from Mija, Hundred Waters, Knox Fortune, Tennyson, Sophie and more.

Many music festivals have an art aspect to them, but FORM Arcosanti really does everything they can to embrace it. FORM will include a Cultural Series consisting of talks, panels, workshops, experiential art, new technologies and outdoor/wellness activities in addition to their eclectic music lineup. They are highlighting numerous philanthropy partners (see above), including Chance The Rapper’s Social Works, where all proceeds with be donated this year.

Check out the full lineup of music, talks, panels and more above!

PREMIERE | Phil Good Drops Uplifting New Indie Dance Song “Better” Via Lowly Palace

Last year we had the pleasure of introducing LA-based singer-songwriter and producer Phil Good to TSIS with stellar releases such as “Growing Up,” “I Miss You,” and his track with K?D, “Lose Myself.” Now he’s showing no signs of slowing down as we’re excited to premiere his newest song today, titled “Better.” Phil Good discusses the inspiration behind this lighthearted dance track, which showcases his talents as a musician and vocalist.

“Some days I wake up and I feel like I don’t know how to be a human being. I feel like a lot of people can relate to that. Life isn’t easy sometimes and something as simple as waking up to face the day ahead can be a monumental task. This song is me telling myself to just ride it out because things can and will always get better” -Phil Good

Phil Good’s inspirational and positive message comes through on “Better,” which emits an upbeat playfulness with bright synth chords and smooth vocal harmonies. Powerful choruses come together with light claps and subtle synth work hitting just right. Phil Good intertwines these sections with energetic breakdowns consisting of additional chords and lead melodies made from his modulated vocals. Give his feel-good track a listen below, courtesy of Lowly Palace, and enjoy!
