Jay Z Pulls His Music from Spotify; Puts it Back on Apple Music

As of April 7th, outlets were reporting Jay-Z had ordered the removal of his music from Spotify and Apple, which many were assuming was a power move against the two streaming services. Yesterday, Complex reported that all of Jay’s albums were back on Apple Music and available for streaming. The exceptions are the ‘Blueprint‘ series and ‘Reasonable Doubt,’ both of which were previously absent from the site and are exclusively available on Tidal. Tidal which was rediscovered back in 2014 when Jay Z acquired it from Aspiro for $56 million has been in competition with Apple Music.
