Pioneer DJ has unveiled the next phase in their storied lineage of equipment: the CDJ-2000NXS2 and DJM-900NXS2.
The teaser may be short but the implications are likely going to be game-changing for the DJ community.
Save your pennies and prepare your Holiday wish list because Pioneer just unveiled one of it’s most appealing products to date, the XDJ-700. Set for release in December, the model is compact and incredibly efficient. The new controller is about ten inches wide and features a touch screen with Rekordbox and many of the performance features found in the revolutionary XDJ-1000. So far, retail price is listed at about $700. Tracks can be uploaded by USB or Wi-Fi to the XDJ-700, which includes faster browsing through QWERTY keyboard word search. You can also upload and edit sets using the Rekordbox app on iOS
Pioneer DJ is expanding its USB-only line of professional mixing gear.
Earlier this week Pioneer teased a trailer titled ‘Prepare for Battle‘ which many speculated to be a fancy new controller. Earlier this morning, Pioneer confirmed that the next step in DJ hardware was their brand new Serato DJM-S9 Mixer. The hybrid mixer is aimed at scratch DJs and will offer new crossfader technology called Magvel Fader Pro. The additional user controls allow the users to tweak the feeling and tension of the fader movement to match the typical scratch DJ style. The DJM-S9 costs $2,074 and will be available late October 2015.
With their newest development — the XDJ-RX — Pioneer DJ has created what very well may be the perfect all-in-one system.

Pioneer announces XDJ-RX: a new laptop-less controller.
Earlier this year, Pioneer introduced the XDJ-1000 which was the company’s first USB-Only driven deck. Now MojaxxTV has released a 35 minute long video of the XDJ-1000 in action where Chris Brackley spins of a mix of tracks. The CDJ-1000 comes with a QWERTY keyboard, color touch screen and rekordbox track information.
