Electrocado – Scribble {Album Review}

Mr. Bill and Ryanosaurus have been giving glitch hop a strong dosage of playful funk since 2009 with their Electrocado project and now that they’re back… with a gigantic offering that merges groovy with hair-raising underground. The “Scribble” EP has 11 delicious tracks meant for an out-of-body experience. Some have beautiful cinematic builds while others morph into electro nu-disco funk… and then some have both… like “Circadoian Rhythms,” a personal favorite. There’s some great collaborations here with artists like fellow Aussie Circuit Bent, a hypnotic collab with vocal-cutting genius with the Canadian duo FM Radio Gods… plus a couple tracks with

Mr. Bill & Qubit – We Like Springs

“Springs” by Mr. Bill & Qubit would be categorized somewhere in between drum n bass & intelligent dance music. The song’s beginning is highlighted by heavy percussions and dark, subtle sounds. Mr. Bill & Qubit push the limits within the song’s bridge, using samples of a baby babbling and haunted-house-piano. The flow from the bridge into the second drop is seamless and we’re immediately cast into a world of liquid DnB. Mr. Bill: Soundcloud, Facebook Qubit: Soundcloud, Facebook
