Last time we had heard from Ferry Corsten, he was linking up with Cosmic Gate for “Event Horizon.” Since then, he has been hard at work in the studio. Today, we get a taste of what to expect off his forthcoming album Blueprint with the title track. So check out the masterpiece above, grab the free download below, and read what Ferry had to say about the upcoming project. Seeing this idea transform into this expansive project has been one of the most rewarding challenges I’ve undertaken as an artist. I’ve always loved the principles of what concept albums stand […]
The first sunset club in all of South America, Laroc Club has made a huge impact in its first year. It continues to stride with huge bookings over the next couple of months featuring the likes of Guy Gerber, Kryder, and Erick Morillo. This massive Brazilian open air space is set in an incredibly lush
In its simplest definition, “materia” is the Latin root word meaning matter, base and the substance that all things are made of. After giving their upcoming album a listen, I can understand why Trance legends Cosmic Gate have decided to give their latest release this most fitting title. It is difficult for artists to keep

I was about ten years old when I stumbled across an unfamiliar CD in my uncle’s catalog of discs he kept in his room. Out of all of the Spanish Rock, Pop and R&B albums, this one particular case stood out from the rest; the album cover had a man dressed in black and his

Ferry Corsten unveils the newest master work from his beloved trance alias, Gouryella titled ‘Neba’ (meaning “Heaven” in Slovak). His newest track ‘Neba’ is entrenched with sweeping melodies, tinged in rolling bass lines and atmospheric in its orchestral arrangement, all of which gives it an instantly propelling charm. Ferry Corsten also performed this past weekend in Las Vegas at the Electronic Daisy Carnival festival for the first time as Gouryella. This is what Ferry has to say about his alias Gouryella ‘I’ve been fortunate enough to spent much of my life making music and performing that music to incredible audiences
For the last five years, no matter what the venue, Electric Daisy Carnival has become a staple of the New York City festival scene. From MetLife to Citi Field, each venue holds countless memories to each and every headliner that has attended, and this years edition is shaping up to be no different. With two days of worlds biggest acts set to descended upon the big apple, 2016’s installation is set to be EDC’s biggest year yet! With the event starting in less then 7 day’s time, creating a proper festival lineup is absolutely key to making sure one has
Seven Lions is back and this time he’s graced us with an epic new remix. The American producer chose to remix Ferry Corsten’s hit “Beautiful” and the results are out of this world. Celebrating ten years since the original release of “Beautiful,” Ferry Corsten enlists Seven Lions, Aly & Fila, and MaRLo in new remix pack.
It’s been nine years since Ferry Corsten gave us the Trance classic ‘Beautiful’ as part of his L.E.F. album and to honor such an incredible track, Seven Lions, along with Egyptian Trance duo Aly & Fila, and MaRLo have given us a remix package, released on Flashover Recordings. So how does one take such a highly revered song and make it their own, yet still stay true to the essence of the track? It’s a fine line to walk, but Seven Lions manages to pull it off flawlessly. Elements of Ferry Corsten’s original ‘Beautiful’ are evident throughout the entire track, all of it
This past weekend saw some of the most unbelievable acts perform from around the world. Not only did we have Ultra Music Festival in Miami, FL, but Beyond Wonderland was also happening on the other side of the country at the San Manuel Amphitheater in San Bernardino, CA! This year’s lineup had a little something for everyone. From Vini Vici and Andrew Rayel at the Trance dedicated Dreamstate stage on Friday, to Datsik and NGHTMRE at the Bassrush stage on Saturday. On Friday, the Outer Realms stage was home to Dreamstate where everyone was lost in a state of Trance. Due to
Gouryella makes a hailed return to the trance scene led by founder Ferry Corsten in a world tour.
So I made a list of the best songs to come out so far this Fall. Kiiara – Feels (Hotel Garuda Remix) Hotel Garuda has continued their streak of near perfection with their latest remix of Kiiara’s ‘Feels’. This track takes the airy vocals from the original and mixes in a sexy bassline and dreamy synth that makes you wanting more. Lost Frequencies – Reality (Uberjack’d) Melbourne Bounce has exploded in popularity. Therefore everyone and their brother has taken a stab at the genre, leading to an influx of mediocrity. Uberjack’d has bucked the shit out of that trend with

Ferry Corsten let the world know that he hadn’t fully left his old sound and that he’s been waiting for the right moment to let his true self shine.
Produced under the moniker of System F, Ferry Corsten teamed up with the legendary Armin Van Buuren to produce Trance gold. Originally released back in June of 2001 on Ferry’s old label, Tsunami, ‘Exhale’ was the first collaboration between these two Trance gods. Taken from the System F album Out Of The Blue, which got released back in the year 2000, ‘Exhale’ will always be one of those tracks that will put you in A State of Trance, where you lose yourself and groove for the entirety of the song. Check out ‘Exhale’ below!
There’s nothing that beckons to a well trained ear quite as much as classic trance. Especially back when Ferry Corsten and Tiesto would collab under the name Gouryella, not only does their work bring back a nostalgic feel that trance fans know and love, but it brings an uplifting melody mixed with fantastic vocals to top it all off. Walhalla is essentially the best of what we remember from early trance, the late 90’s were filled with these types of vocal trance tracks and yet this one still always ends up sticking out to me. Be sure to give it
