Dr. Dre Finally Releases New Album After 16 Years

Dr. Dre’s highly anticipated follow up album to The Chronic 2001 was recently announced via his Beats 1 radio show The Pharmacy. After 16 years of not releasing music, Dre is finally back with a new LP, appropriately titled Compton: A Soundtrack which is a 17-song project featuring the likes of Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar, Jill Scott and many more well respected musicians. Compton: A Soundtrack will also serve as the soundtrack for the forthcoming N.W.A biopic Straight Outta Compton due out August 14th.
