“Blood Brother,” out at the end of August on Zeds Dead’s Deadbeats label, demonstrates a lighter side of the artists’ skill set.
The two duos have crafted a mesmerizing future bass track, with heavenly vocals from Reija Lee, whose voice listeners may recognize from href="http://dancingastronaut.com/tag/metrik/" >Metrik‘s iconic drum & bass track, “Freefall.” Though the track isn’t what most fans of Zeds Dead would expect from the pair, the duo proved they’re capable of producing a wide range of genres with last October’s debut album, Northern Lights.
With clean-cut production and bass breaks, “Blood Brother” serves as another impressive addition to both duos discographies.
