Brillz, Jackal and Kstylis collaborate on ‘Twerk Star’

Some have labeled href="">Brillz as a trap guru, but that term only scratches the surface when describing the Los Angeles-based DJ and producer. The artist has established himself as the leader of the so-called “Twonk Team,” developing a dedicated following across the country.

Along with Brillz, href="" >Jackal has been making moves in the scene, creating a name for himself as a highly dynamic artist who has no qualms experimenting across genres. Jackal’s latest, “Feel It” featuring Anfa Rose, is quickly gaining attention after the song was officially released a week ago for its fluttery, future bass vibe. href="" >Kstylis has also formed his idiosyncratic reputation emerging as the ring master to the new age twerk campaign. The hit single which he was featured on,” href="" >Slam Dunk,” by Valentino Khan and Skrillex has racked up over a million and a half plays on SoundCloud.

Together, the three have engineered “Twerk Star,” an anthem that puts a spin on the classic trap sound by adding smooth gliding pitch changes throughout the drop as well as some cheeky lyrics. The song will be part of Volume 1 of the Twonkilation compilation series. Volume 1 will feature 16 tracks and will be premiered Friday, Apr. 28.
