A widespread change to the bass music landscape has been underway as producers over the past couple years have begun shedding their heavy festival trap, dubstep, and big room approach to embrace the lighter, more melodic stylings of future bass. href="http://dancingastronaut.com/search/don+diablo">Don Diablo, who thrives in the future & bass house arena, felt inspired himself to try this new sensational approach with “Children Of A Miracle.”
The producer enlisted newcomer Marnik, who’s been known in the past as a collaborator of KSHMR, to assist in songwriting, and together they’ve fashioned a piece that checks all the boxes of a successful contemporary bass hit. Airy vocals pair with artful guitar and piano chords to foster a euphoric atmosphere, which is broken up by staccato-laden drops. Though “Children Of A Miracle” might not fit the usual soundscape of Don Diablo’s repertoire, we imagine the producer to wield it at the end or in the middle of future sets as weapon that will pump his crowds up with a refreshed burst of emotion.
