Rocket League, arguably the hottest video game of 2016, just featured a multi-genre banger produced by 2017 breakout artist, Sando.
Aspiring producers everywhere were given the opportunity to submit a song that would inevitably reach over 25 million players, and Sando crushed the competition. His remix of Hollywood Principal‘s “Spell” enchanted the developers of Playstation’s number one most downloaded game of 2016. The mesmerizing release is now the new trailer’s feature and will be the game’s main title track of 2017.
Sando transformed “Spell’s” original disco house sound to a melodic rollercoaster that begins as trap, transitions to electro house with etherial vocals and signs off as dubstep. Sando, originally a drummer, loaded the bassline with varying snares, quads and a marching bass that will beat you into a trance.
